Hello, If you take a look at the stamp, neat the bottom you'll see a letter and numbers (e.g. c-11 298, d-10 299, etc..) the first combination is the size and the latter is the wood and finish grade . You can match the grade number with what I posted earlier in this string to determine what wood you have.
The really old ones, like you have usually take a square base - which is tough to find - the top with these cases is either cathedral or corniced.
