The glue greg has mentioned is avaible everywhere. You can also get liquid hide glue there, which will do if the old type glue is not. One only needs a crook pot to heat and mantain hot hide glue, somthing everyone has! Keep the hot hide glue at 150 degrees F. The reason you want to use hide glue is that alphetic resin glue (modern wood glue) is not going to bond to the old glue already present from the first application, will stick only to open pore wood and not very well to brass. Hide glue will restick to the old hide glue and can be cleaned up easily with warm water or white vinegar. Avoid the need to clean out the old glue save time and the original form, use the hide type glue.
