In Response To: Dating an Old Dresser (vince)

I have an old dresser and bed set that I cannot identify...can you help me? First let me say that I have a large dresser with three sided mirror that has the keyhole lock on both top drawers with matching dressing table with three sided mirror with matching bench with rush seat. Two twin beds and one nightstand. All of the pieces have handpainted flowers very small running around the edges of the mirrors and on the drawer fronts and on the beds a large basket on flowers on the headboards. The dressing table has turned front legs as does the bench. The only marking I can find is on the inside bottom of the front drawer lock that says Eagle Lock Co. Terryville, Conn. I'm really not sure what kind of wood it is, as age looks to have darkened it, maybe maple?? The beds have side rails and I don't see how you put the mattress in as there aren't any marks on the rails from anything being attached to them.

Thank you, Diana
