Restoration of archaeological ceramic
The course
primarily for students and graduates in archeology, aims to provide theoretical
and practical knowledge above all and necessary to intervene in the restoration
of archaeological finds in ceramic.
The didattic program provides for the deeper teaching of the following issues:
the causes of degradation. Methodologies and issues of restoration of
archaeological finds. Classification of debris. Techniques for reconstruction.
The cleaning of the finds. Techniques and materials for consolidation.
