Right you are, we all have to experiment and see weather the advertising claims are all they are stacked up to be. The best reason to use gorilla glue, or any of the other urithane glues, is where water will be present and may presently reside, making a good bond impossible for any other adhesive. I dislike this glue but do use one of these brands for wet wicker, otherwise I would toss it right out. As for the titebond, where moisture is a concern, look at titebond III as it will hold up when water is likely to loosen regular glues.
