Ahhh the dillema...this is sometimes the hardest part of what we do....and these modern frames can have a vinyl veneer on them, or a painted type faux finish.....maddening to make a perfect repair on...my first question would be ...why is there a brad hole there to begin with??..touching up such a nail hole can be tricky..using a dye stain, paint, pigmented stain, etc......all have different end looks...and now if you've succeeded in enlarging the touch up area by sanding through the surrounding finish, you have a problem on your hands , you only have one shot at these usually....not sure how to advise you...
