Peter: Gorilla glue has excellent adhesive properties, but I stress one of the drawbacks is if you are rebuilding or repairing furniture it is very difficult to apply the correct amount. It has always spread out of the joint onto the adjoining surfaces. Most definitly do not use it repairing finished pieces unless the area will not be viewable. Another drawback is shelf life.
