First of all be sure to use Boiled Linseed Oil as the linseed oil will take forever to dry. I think for your table you will want better protection like a finish film that can withstand the sort of use that a table will get. You can find a brushing lacquer that will be a grade above shellac and very easy to polish and repair or recoat. You may want to dull down the sheen with 0000 steel wool or pumice rubbing powder and paraffin oil. As for the combination of products you have listed, they will all work just as well independently. First use the alcohol to remove the old shellac, follow this with the boiled linseed oil, allow 48 hours to dry and then use a good wax to protect the finish and keep a shine, A few coats of wax will result in a nice satin shine that will need re waxing every year or so, but will not protect from water rings.
