I have a mahogany endtable-desk which has rollers on the bottom. The glue on the bottom boards has loosened over time and the rollers (which are original) have gouged the wood to a depth of one inch as they have spun and turned in place. Once I remove the rollers and reglue the bottom boards should I fill in the gouges and attempt to replace the rollers? How would I fill in the gouges, if this is recommended? And where might I find rollers appropriate to the piece?
