We just acquired a beautiful 1950's chrome kitchen table without chairs. I am hoping I can restore the chairs my parents had when I was a child. Their table died a long time ago. Anyway, my father says there is some rust on the chair legs..what should I use to remove the rust and what should I use to clean these chair properly? I saw where the chrome with need replated...and I have found someone to recover once I properly clean them. Looking forward to hearing from you. Also, is there any place to purchase more chairs for these type tables inexpensively say around 25.00 per chair? All I have found are over 100.00. Thank you in advance.
