I have an antique secretary (roughly mid-19th century), with a lot of delicate veneer and inlay work. I don't think it has been cleaned or re-finished since it was made, and the finish has gone very dark. I want to strip and re-finish it, but am obviously concerned about damaging it. Product suggestions (both strippers and finishes)?
