This is from the book, Talking Dirty with the Queen of Clean: Take a slice of white bread (yes, it has to be white), put it in a bowl and cover with white vinegar. Leave enclosed in the trunk or dresser drawer for 24 hours. If odor remains, repeat the process. If mildew odor persists in dresser drawers, shellac or varnish the inside of them and odor will be sealed in and eliminated. Best wishes.
