In Response To: Re: Unusual Casters for Iron Bed Needed (Steve)

I recently purchased a tubular iron bed and am interested in purchasing two casters that apparently are unusual.

The caster itself:

1. Going from the wheel upward is the standard metal bar (for lack of the right word).

2. At the top, the bar extends through a flexible metal "L" clamp. It looks like an upsidedown "U." The top of the bar flairs out slightly so that it cannot slip down through the U clamp.

3. At the bottom of each leg of the U, is an insert, extending about an 1/8" down from the clamp.

4. There is a circular metal disk that sits atop the wheel that has two slits cut into it.

5. As the U is inserted into the bed frames tubing, the U comes together and snaps into the slits.

6. Any of this sound familiar, or am I just blowin' in the wind?
