I recently purchased a huge, old oil painting on canvas. I am not interested in putting a lot of money into the restoration of the painting. Any ideas on how to clean the painting? There are several areas that have started to chip and the paint is not adhered to the canvas. Any thoughts on how to rebond the paint to the canvas?
