I recently aquired a roll top desk that was my grandfathers. It is very old and has a globe-wernicke lock on the roll feature. I could not get it to lock and then suddenly it did. Now my problem is I can not get it to unlock. I have sprayed silicone lubricant in it and the key will spin but I think the tumbler is inactive. Their is a slot on the bottom of the desk but I cannot seem to get the right combination to open this. I can call a lock smith but I do not want to mess this oroginal up. Any suggestions? Thanks
