Sure Roger, teak oil is an oil finish as well, usually tung oils with varying degrees of solids and some linseed oils and Phenolic resins...many so called "Teak oils" are designed for bright work on boats and are formulated as an exterior product, but I use Teak oil on my Maple work bench once or twice a year...exterior Teak oils also contain UV inhibitors and mildewcides, the latter you should probably avoid putting on furniture. There are many manufacturers of Oil finishes..all of them good choices for restoring and maintaining teak..
