Thanks -- I know to Google, Yahoogle, and Dogpile-gle!! I will get to that next week. I am a Weekend DIY'er. I may need a lot of the dyes - just purchased an oak mission desk and chair ($40.00) from an 87 year old man who said that it belonged to his mother - it was in his garage for over 10 years, that makes eight legs that are really shredded.

While we are on the subject of my chair legs, when it is all complete can I or should I put furniture glides on the end of each leg?? Drill a small pilot hole and glue in the nail from each leg?????
