In Response To: Chipped enamel on new stove! (Cindi)

Hi Cindi and Sandra, sorry that apparently no one answered your plea...perhaps it is because there really isn't a way to get a perfect, non detectable repair to this dilemma. The basic reason is that the colored surface is a porcelain enamel, which is literally melted on , or fired in an oven like glassware or fine ceramics....the touch up bottle is pretty much the only recourse you have..the only advice being to use a high quality, natural bristle artists brush, and apply it like nail polish...one, single stroke if possible, flowing on the coating as thick as the original layer...definately do not brush back and forth ,or lay it on too thin....best of luck
