Oxalic acid is the best bet but be warned Brandi......if it is oak the black comes from the minerals in water mixing with tannin in oak. Its a high tannin wood. You can get most of the black out as James suggested but really deep ones get stubborn. I just did a dining room table for a customer that had a lot of stains......I got out all but one and that one lightened up a lot.
