I guess I forgot to mention first trying to rectivate with heat. I also forgot to mention that when I use a different glue, I do sand between the veneer and the ground. The reason I like super glue on very small areas is because it is so thin it runs down and goes everywhere under the veneer. I've never tried vinegar before so thanks for the tip there. I keep it in the shop to neutralise wood bleach - now I have another use! Roger
