James makes a very good point here. If you have in fact used a whole bottle of this stuff on this table and it appears to look "thirsty", the reason is that there is very little or no finish at all on the table.And you are repeatedly dousing it with an oil that soaks into the table top. Therefore refinishing it will be compromised by the amount of oils in the wood...this can be dealt with, but the person doing that job needs to be made aware of the oil treatments when starting it, and will need to take special steps to deal with it.
