I have a table also from the Saginaw Furniture, It is the telescoping table/buffet combo. I had never seen one like this before. I purchesed this piece in a Saint Vincent Thrift shop two weeks ago. I was wondering around in the furniture area and was very suprised when I saw what I thaught was a interesting chest of sorts and pulled open the top ,what I thaught was a drawer. I kept pulling out the two legs and the table . The four leaves where inside also. I paid $50.00 for it and when I went to load it I told the clerk the person helping load it not to look for a table as we know one. I came home and started to strip the item. Boy, mine is a red red stain. I wonder if all made there where that stain and how many of these tables where made?? Also in what time frame and for what price where they sold for,My daughter will have the piece when I tone down the red finish. Any one with more info, please let me know. Thanks Donna
