Hi James. I am a real cinnamon fan, but is everyone?
You recipe must leave the item lovely and clean. Would not the natural smell of the wood then get a chance to appear?
Also, is not the stale smell often jointly associated with damp and dust? If so, then your cleaning and the right humidity should be enough.
I am simply talking as a housewife who is interested in your kind response to Nina's question.
I made a mistake this summer. My teak furniture had been slightly neglected and so got the full treatment. Unfortunately the oil could have been fresher - I did not notice till everything was back in place :-(
Roll on spring and a fresh treatment !!
