Hi. I just bought 2 folding armless chairs marked fbm co. and "Pat.Appl.For." so I assume these are older than the ones reported in this post to have trademark and patent numbers . . .? They do not have a plate attached or number etched in but the paper label on the bottom says "registry number 1040." I bought the pair at Goodwill for $30 and they look great after an application of Old English Scratch cover for Dark Woods. Are these mahoghany or could they be teak (as a recent poster wrote)? Also, how do I get them to fold up?? Thx for any info! Kara
