The table cloth was just a heavy cotton,it has beem used for years. Maybe there counld of been something from when it was washed,dont know.There was a lot of rain during the two week that the stuff was on the table. I retested the finish and tried the nail polish remover again and this time the finiah came off.I guess I didn't wait long enough or didnt rub the test spot enough before. Now what is the best way to redo the top.Should I strip it all off,or just sand,would it come out bad if I just did top.Have never worked with lacquers but will try anything.Any Ideas welcome
