This is more of a Woodweb question but I'm not getting alot of response over there.I'm doing a high build finish on a very nice deco table.I've sprayed it with MLC gloss hi build(nitro cell for the look I want). In the past I've always hand sanded the tops starting with 320 or 400g then wet sanded graduating from 600,800,1000,1200,1500,2000 then rubbing out or buffing. It's very labor intensive and I end up chasing scratches. This particular table is really giving me problems. At the 400g dry sanding my paper is loading up immediately. Is the finish not hard enough. It's been sittng for 4days.I,m in the mid south and conditions require alot of retarder.I tried 3m260l discs on a random orbital but got the dreaded little circles. What equipment or process will make this easier and more efficient?
