In Response To: Antique Chinese Furniture Restoration I (David Wu)

I havew a 40 yr old round red lacquer(?) table from Japan is not ruined completely. There are round cloudy places, presumably from heat transferred from hot coffee mugs through coasters (we always use cork coasters). My mother used Pledge and I used Pledge but I'm well on the way to a conversion. Do you think the very fine sanding and proper furniture feeding might help in this case? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
