I don't know why you want to scrape a floor unless you are into self torture. A floor buffer will do a decent job, useing a scouring pad or steel wool, will give you a decent job. I know scraping will get you a very good apearance of the grain, but this sounds like so much work! You can get a scraper from the Woodworkers Store, they have a web site. You will need to dress it up with a good fine cut file for metal, and you will need a burnisher to raise the sharp curl on the edge. The old timers used a piece of glass with a clean stright break. This will do as well, with practice, I know as I use glass on birdseye maple and other dense woods to avoid sanding scratches. But a whaole floor?
