I would try some Blush eliminator if the finish is intact and in good shape. Wash all the wax, oils off with some naptha ot mineral spirits, let dry and spray the blush eraser over the area in overlapping strokes until the area is wet and then let it dry. A few applications might be needed and then a rubout and rewaxing of the surface. Aerosols are available many places like Woodcraft, Woodworkers Supply, etc........
