I have a fantastic James Sargent (Pat.1866 , rochester N.Y.) safe with a double racetrack (upper and lower) design with raised flowers (metal)in all corners, with the barber stripe design all around . I am looking for pics to restore it. I can see some of the remnants of paint, soI am going to go with that as much as I can. But I do not know if there were painted or inserted pictures in the oval racetrack design part. Anyone have info? or access to books or anything !! thanks Sue
