You will need to find which disenfectant will work on this finish without too much damage, so that the bacteria is destroyed, but the shine is still there. Try a dilluted cleaner that is fairly nondestructive, a dish soap in cold water. Start in a hidden area and see if the results are good. If not keep at it till you have somthing that works and leaves the finish alone. I think a watered down Pinesol or 1/3 bleach and 2/3 cold water may work best. The question is what will work on your particular finish, certainly the insides are ok for bleach. Just don't get things too wet for too long. Work in small areas and wipe dry often.
