Hello, This is a little later example of the globe wernicke case. It will date sometime after the early 1920's to just before the war. Best place to look for values is to search on Ebay and see what auctions similar to your bookcase end up. The mahogany later period cases will have less value than the sought after oak ones of the Arts and Crafts Period.
