Your best bet to identifying your furniture's manufacturer is to chek for books which list the manufacturers of the time period which is late 1800's to early 1900's. The small shelves that ar on the sides of the mirror were for lamps or candles. It mahave also had a similar shelf or a bracket at the top holes for additional light.
