Hello, saw a message you left on a discussion forum. My wife and I have just bought a suite that sounds much like yours. Did you ever find out anything about its worth? We are not collectors and are naive about antiques. I'm just very curious about whether we got a bargain, though my wife fell in love with it. I'm the mercenary one. We just got it today, not even delivered yet. We bought it from the Goodwill Industries store in Charleston, West Virginia, and paid about $1500. It's in exellent condition and I'll be very surprised if that was not an exellent value. It is 9 peices, table (large, with leaves that sort of slide out at each end), hutch, sideboard, one Captain's chair and five other chairs; but not quite like pictures I've seen so far on the net. I just Googled on Berkey and Gay Furniture. If you're interested, I'll be able to send pictures in a week or so...

Thanks for any reply.
