I found an unusual coffee table at a yard sale. I paid one dollar for it and it lookes like some dummy let the top get very wet. There is a leather, or leather like product on the middle section and also on the two sides which are half round and fold down. The supports are sprung out by what appears to be similar to the spring mechinism on a clothspin. I am going to attempt to order some vanere from Lee Valley and refinish it. Wish me luck!I am not sure what to do about the leather..., also ther is a thin piece of trim which is scalloped that has gone missing on one side.
