I had that problem and ended up taking the object outside ,tenting it in plastic and used fumigation bombs in the tent. I followed up by spraying in all the openings I could find. It seemed to have worked as no more dust piles showed up. As I understand termite fumigation,it is not a general fumigation but aimed in the ground and between walls /floors for killing and control. Good luck
