I have recently acquired a black leather Spencer cartridge box made in the 1860s-70s. On the outside it looks pretty good. On the inside it seems to have a mild "algae" growth. The "algae" growth is also in the holed wood block that holds the cartridges. I live in Indianapolis. Can these problems be remedied? How do I go about finding and expert that won't make things worse? I can send pictures if anyone wants
