In Response To: Re: Antique safe restoration (James Schooley)

I have what I believe is an 18th century safe or strongbox. It appears that the manufacturers names is Delano. The interior is pine surrounded by iron and steel sheeting with several hundred knobs that are driven into the surface. Two of these knobs move to reveal the key hole for which there is a large brass key.

I want to have the exterior finish restored in a way to protect the metal surface from rust or deteriation. I live in Virginia. Is there someone on the east coast that can provide restoration?

Thank you
