There is a remote chance that the paint can be removed with a fumeing method. But if the first coat of paint was from a spray can on cloth, I am definately not optamistic about the possiblity of good results. One can take a large tight fitting container and lid, also an upside down aquarium will work and allow you some view of the process. Place the item into the chamber with a dish of liquid paint stripper and seal it up. After an hour take a peek to see if the paint is loosening. Give the item plenty of time for the paint to wrinkle up, remove briefly and pull off the larger pieces of paint with a tweezer. Replace the item and repeat the process until all the paint has been picked off. Let me know how this works for you, good luck, James.
