In Response To: Spray paint wicker? (Holli Gribbons)

I think wood glue and some temporary tape will fix the unwraping. The spray paint is ok too so long as there isn't a laytex coat of paint on there. A little scrubbing with dehatures alcohol will reveal if the paint is laytex, as it will start to disolve onto the rag if it is. Clean very well with mild soap and let dry, give a light sand, and wipe off all dust with a tack cloth, now your ready to paint with an oil base sprat paint.
