i have 2 hitchcock chairs that belonged to my grandparents. i am 50 and they had them back as far as i can remember. they were caught in hurricane andrew and are missing some paint, which is amazing because the entire house blew down and they survived. i would like to have them refinished but i am not sure how to go about it...any ideas. i have no idea of their value (probably diminished because of the hurricane) but i think they are pretty and i use them more as "art" than chairs....thanks...sandi.
