Thanks James, I appreciate the point about the detail being composition and will use the alcohol and tooth brush. Your other point about using Fam O Wood filler will be checked out. It will bail me out, hopefully it is available in real dark, as this walnut is pretty dark. By the way James, Wood Craft has a wood filler advertised in the paper today and it is labled dark. Maybe I can check that out also. My Minwax walnut filler is way to light in color. The rest, sanding sealer, and Deft lacquer protection coat will be the way I go.
One more question about the sanding sealer, should it be water base or oil base since the toner and the clear protection coat will be lacquer? Does it matter?
