Sissie, What you are asking is kind of tricky.Any restorers fill for the chip will be destroyed during the firing process.There may be a product you can use to fire on at the same time you are having the coloring fired on ,like an insert of slip as green ware.I suggest you contact the people who will do the kiln work for you or contact a full service ceramic hobby shop for a good answer.You could also post this question on the ceramic discussion panel page.(you listed on the furniture page)
