Hello...I recently inherited a very old and very large Louis Vuitton trunk. It is in surprisingly good condition however I would like to retore it to the point that the original finish shows. Did they use fabric, paint (stencil), or leather logo. I can very and I mean very barly see the LV pattern under what is either varnish or paint or both. Is there a way or process that I can remove the old buildup without harming what should be the original finish. Is there a product or process that is stong enough to remove a layer without harming the next layer? Would appreciate any help or advise.......Regards....Dave
