Hello, I have read all the messages regarding brass bed refinishing however I am not sure the state of my bed is tarnish or rust. My bed appears to have thin spots of rust on it but I am not sure. I have started with steel wool, the tarnish/rust is coming off but it seems to be scratching it. I have Never Dull and Semichrome to clean it once I get the other off. Would a professional buffer be the best and easiest way for me to get rid of the tarnish/rust? Please be specific regarding what type of compound I should use from the auto parts store. Thanks so much. Cathy Jo
