Hello,
I too am a fan of the Monitor Top refrigerator and I own five ranging in age from 1927-1935. My problem is that NONE of mine work! I was using a Sulphur Dioxide model and it sprung a leak. I then used a Methyl Dichloride, and it poisoned me as well when it started leaking.
I have three questions:
Can they be repaired to the point of safety using the original system?
Can they be converted to run on freon?
Is there help in Los Angeles?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. My 1935 is now on my kitchen holding cast iron pans!
Sincerely, -WM
