i just bought a small vanity . someone said it was made out of birds eye maple or something like that?????? could you please tell me what this wood is called exactly. also it has a huge water stain that has lifted the wood on top which i believe is a thin layer of the same wood. i think you call it veneer. i want to remove or cover up that spot and glue another thin layer of wood on top. what should i use. can i get the same type of wood to match and if so where would i get it from? i also need to make the mirror because that is missing.and lastly how do i find out what type of stain is already there to match. thanks for you help.
