Nancy, I hope I am in time to stop you from trying to refinish that table at home. A lot of the value is in the finish!

There is a company here in Buffalo NY that employs experienced former Kittinger craftsmen to restore old Kittinger pieces. Their address is www.elmwoodcompany.com Good luck!
