50's chrome set

We have a 1946 chrome dinette set, and just moved from California to Chicago. The movers disassembled the table legs and we think they threw away the plastic table gliders on the bottom of each. They are double and clear colored, and hold the bottom of the two legs together on each side. We have spent days trying to find replacement gliders and can only find the single ones. Does anyone know where I can find something like this? Our table won't stand without the legs attached to these plastic pieces. We would even consider having them custom made if we just knew where!...any help would be much appreciated!
