Thanks very much James, you have offered some real encouragement with the warm white vinegar and close interval drilling techniques. I will also look for the liquid hide glue, an Ace is nearby or a little further is a woodworkers supply. I suppose a small oil type dispenser will work for applying the vinegar, don't know why not. I also see the same advantages of using the liquid hide glue in antique frames. Wish you a happy holiday season, Doyle
